Eradicate food deserts (notably, Bayview-Hunters Point)

At the federal level, my greatest concern about Hunter’s Point and the Bayview is to address the long-standing radiation poisoning of the neighborhood by the US Navy, and the field corporate cover up that has driven the Navy, alongside thousands of residents and current and former police officer is, to sue touch attack for falsifying soil samples.

Programs like Medicare for all and universal basic income would best support address food deserts in underserved communities. They empower local entrepreneurship, support small businesses, and ameliorates the economic precarity that constrains consumer demand in many areas plagued by insufficient access to safe & healthy food.
